I am a programmer. That is all. I have decades of experience in Windows, about 7 years in Linux, my C is rusty, but passable. Fluent in the .NET framework, VB is my language of choice, but C# works when I need to use it. Lately I've been diving very deeply into C++/CLI, getting more back to my roots and using what I've learned from the decade of developing in VB.

I make no pretenses about being smart at anything. I am as absent-minded as they come. Without a manual I would be in the dark.

But I don't think I'm particularly stupid.

Linux server administration is a constant thorn in my side, because there is so much to constantly know and not very much time to know it.

Please be patient with me with regards to Linux-related questions. That paradigm is massive.
