I got my start working on mathematical models of evolution, and somehow got roped into advising other academics on biostatistics and machine learning. I've become strongly interested in the analysis of data and its communication to others, and I am very excited about ongoing developments in data science. In 2018, I founded Intricate, a data science consulting firm.

I regularly use Python, R, and SQL in my day-to-day work. I'm also experienced with MATLAB, Mathematica, and STAN. I am currently learning Javascript; I'm particularly eager to learn D3.js and other data visualization tools.
