Software developer.

If you give a man a fish, he will eat for a day. If you teach him how to fish, he will eat for the rest of his life.

However, if you teach him how to fish, you won't make him dependent on your Q&A site, and thus you won't get a nice, steady stream of ad-revenue from him constantly visiting your site.

So, therefore, it is extremely "immoral" to teach others how to fish on a Q&A site. Even if that Q&A site could make good ad-money solely on teaching how to fish and other Q&A that aren't simply giving a man a fish.

I also don't understand why Stack Exchange Inc. support discriminative policies internally and also donates money to movements that discriminate against certain groups. Why not stay away from such policies and movements?
