I learnt coding from a bearded gentleman whose hobby was boat-building and who had a private zoo. His name was Noah, if I remember correctly, but my memory is not what it once was - I would like to call it pre-mature senility, but my kids think it's long over-due. Noah showed me how to punch holes in a card and stick the cards into a machine. Imagine how much fun we had when tape came along! The first PC I bought for myself could take genuinely "floppy" floppy disks.

Having started with ALGOL, I have spent time with C, VB, and C++, before ending with C#.

I live in Munich, drink too much beer (but the beer here is so good, it would be rude not to!), and generally enjoy the company of my wife and four wonderful children.
