I'm a computer scientist of Canadian origin, back in Canada after living in the UK and Denmark. My main academic interests lie with programming languages and their semantics, especially concurrent languages. On the pragmatic side, I'm usually at least waist-deep into infrastructure automation — building infrastructure is satisfying, having to do it by hand a second time is less so :).
