I'm a chemist but have always worked with programming. I've had my experiences with ActionScript (RIP Flash), HTML/JavaScript/CSS, Python, Ruby/Rails, VB.NET, C# and others, but none of those deep enough to be able to answer questions around here (I did ask a few, though). Some time ago I started my PhD in Bioinformatics using R (which I dropped out of, but ok), and I have finally learned enough to start helping instead of only being helped! I've been also finding my away around C# lately but haven't been as active as a SO contributor these days.
