I like to create simple solutions, I don't like to reinvent the wheel, I like to research, use and combine right tools that helps to solve problems.

I am now focused on Ruby and Rails Framework and the set of technologies that works with this two interesting and very nice tecnologies. Now with the other languages that will help me to enhance my toolbox and make me a greater developer and technician.

I was focused in Java technologies for web application development. I had worked to build applications from scratch and improve legacy applications. I think that the most important skill that I have is to learn quickly new technologies by myself, and apply those to implement solutions.

In my career I had worked in many different environments and technologies from 4GL languages for Unix HP-UX (Client/Server with thousands of records for real time critical applications), desktop applications with Windows XP and Borland Delphi in local area networks, Java desktop applications and Java J2EE applications with Oracle DB and Application Server. I have hands on experience with search engines working with big volume of data, millions of records from many sources like web crawlers, database feeds, documents feeds, and multilingual environments to provide accurate search results, also those results are not only archived data, also documents that need to be updated daily, like a shopping web site.
