I work as a data scientist for a small FinTech startup and design bespoke predictive analytics and modelling solutions (mostly using R). I am also working on a number of publications and research projects.

I have a degree in Physics and a PhD in Banking and Finance. My doctorate involved utilising new ways to conduct regulatory analysis through computer simulations. This was achieved by developing and estimating a dynamic structural model of bank behaviour under new regulatory regimes using discrete choice dynamic programming (in FORTRAN).
