Self taught freelance developer who has been building and maintaining a wide variety of applications since 2000 in a wide variety of industries. From Banking and Finance to Utilities and Social Care. Along the way I have used many different technologies and whilst many have been underpinned by the Oracle database I am not married to any technology and believe in the right tool for the job. In fact my last argument that I was involved in regarding which is better was the Spectrum 48k versus the Commodore 64. In 1985.

I am interested in the whole spectrum of software development but have a particular interest in web development, databases, legacy code, instrumentation, debugging and security.

In my spare time I help run a local Code Club which teaches 9 – 13 years how to code and when off line I can found exploring the battlefields of World War II.
