Hey, I am Nicholas Adamou, and I am a full-stack developer who loves to design and program websites. My goal is to learn as much as I can about different areas of the computer. I absolutely love programming. The mere ability to write a few lines of code and have something unique and interesting come up on the screen fascinates me every day!

However, that's not the only thing that interests me, I also love tennis! I have been a tennis player for as long as I can remember, but to be more specific, I picked up the racket for the first time when I was 12 years old. Since then, a lot has changed with my game. My favorite tennis player and role model for my own game is Rafael Nadal of Spain. He is a lefty, like me. What I admire about him is his dedication to the game and his extreme work ethic. He is a great role model for hard work in almost anything you do in life.

I've adopted this mindset and a willingness to work hard in my own life. You can see it in almost anything I do, it doesn't matter if it's school related, tennis related, or even programming related; having such a mindset and determination is a valuable asset. This is why I have chosen to adopt this quote as my motto,

"Ever tried? Ever failed? No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better." In my opinion, it speaks wonders about how failing isn't a bad thing and that it's such an important step in the learning process and how one must fail first before they succeed. Here is a quote by, Travis Neilson, which is relating to this point.

"Failure is a part of learning. Don't be afraid to make something awful. It's only through that path that awesome things are made." I am currently studying at Hartwick College and will be graduating May 2020. My current areas of expertise are HTML and CSS, Java, Sass, Pug, Stylus, etc. I am primarily a Web Developer at heart, but I also love to make games on the side as well, using Java.
