I work as an ecologist in Australia. I spend most of my time hacking ecological simulation models and geospatial code (mostly in Java, C, R). I also try to understand Bayesian statistics. I contribute to the GeoTools and JAITools libraries. Sometimes I venture outside and look at real plants and animals.
