I am proud to have learned programming through (Visual) C++ in late 1990s. Endowed with such strong background, I moved to web programming languages during mid 2Ks. But my mindset always works in OOP (Oriented-Object Programming) environment :-)

Throughout my professional career, I have been working on stand-alone applications, web-applications, ranging from Mathematical problems to CMS purposes, from graphics to databases.

I think that software developer skills must be rated according to its ability to resolve problems via algorithms. Not to the number of tools one knows: there's always the time to learn'em.
