I use C++ for the Graphics, Vision, Hardware Control, and Mathematics of Robotics. My favorite libraries are OpenSceneGraph, wxWidgets, Armadillo, OpenCV, and Boost. I know of a way to sneak OSG into a WX application and still use wxSmith to create the GUI.
