I'm Juha Aaltonen, 50 year old senior software designer from Nokia Finland.

I've written assembly code for quite some processors: 6502, 6800, 6809, 68030, PowerPC, 8085, x86, PDP-11/70, VAX 11/780, TI C64X+ core and some other.

My favorite languages (besides assembly) are C, Ada, Lisp (not Common Lisp) and Occam. I grew up (computerwise) with BSD Unix (at my alma mater: Tampere University of Technology) and learnt DOS / Windows later.

Most of my professional career I've spent writing embedded programs in proprietary sytems, but have written a couple of Linux and Windows device drivers too.
