The job-title is a formality; really, I'm an engineer who asks a lot of questions and spends twice as much time researching the answers. When the going gets rough, and when the technological requirements seem impossible, I'm the guy going in, figuring it out, and making it happen. Moreover, I hope that I serve as a good example for what others should do when faced with minimal resources, zero-time, and pressure from every direction.

Outside of the office, I'm a regular science geek: I study, experiment, and have fun with my friends. My core interests & expertise are robotics, scientific programming, AI & ML, and the deeper nuances of embedded systems engineering and development. My colleagues consider me as an expert with C++ & Python, high-performance computing, computer & software architecture, automated build & testing systems, debugging, optimization, and analysis. So, to maintain those areas of expertise, I regularly dabble, tinker, and experiment with a wide array of techniques in those areas.

Over the next few years, I aim to build up a serious side-project with some close friends. At the same time, I've begun working towards my Master's degree. At this point in my career, I consider much of what I do like art:

The only way you can gain more inspiration and insight is to seek it out in forms outside of what you've grown accustomed.
