Over the years I've done PC BIOS development; Windows Drivers; Lustre management scripts for Linux; Benchmarking of various Windows and Linux clusters. All this required writing lots of custom system management programs and scripts, now open sourced at https://github.com/JFLarvoire/SysToolsLib.

Off work, I like mountain sports a lot. My preferred ones are: In winter, Ski Touring on wild mountains all over the Alps. In summer, Paragliding all over the same mountains. (Both long cross-coutry flights, and walks to take off from summits for a quick flight back down.)
