I'm currently working as a research assistant at the Environmental Informatics working group, Philipp University of Marburg, Germany. A particular focus is thereby put on the spatio-temporal analysis and modeling of meteorological (e.g., temperature, rainfall) and ecosystem parameters (e.g., normalized difference vegetation index) derived from in situ observations and satellite remote sensing. From a technical viewpoint, the data preparation, analysis, and visualization in R (w/Rcpp) constitutes a substantial part of my everyday business.
