Daniel Rice is Founder and Software Developer at LD Studios, with experience as a technical lead delivering software on time and on budget. Prior to starting LD Studios, Daniel acted as a software project team lead for companies ranging in size from Startup to Global Fortune 500. Daniel enabled clients to reach their ROI targets by utilizing open source stacks (Ruby on Rails), cloud-based hosting providers, and Agile methodology.

Daniel’s strengths include a strong technical consulting experience building SaaS solutions with Ruby, Ruby on Rails, and associated technologies. In addition to a consulting background, Daniel has experience across the application life cycle, including requirements gathering, functional/technical design, development, testing, release, and ongoing support.

In collaboration with his clients, Daniel has led development teams in defining and understanding the scope of work, in developing project time lines and milestones, and in maintaining a sustainable development pace through the use of best practices.
