I've learned to code using the "bludgeon baby seals" method of skill acquisition. I've never written an original piece of code (thanks to the Inter-nets) and have butchered VB, VBscript, bash, AppleScript, PowerShell and a few others batch languages along the way. I love to learn new things and your post will help me get there.

PS: no baby seals were hurt in the coding of this or any other script.
