I started by programming BASIC games out of a magazine with a Texas Instruments computer. Soon I was editing Civilization data files and freeing up more 640k base memory to play Wing Commander.

I began writing HTML when I discovered the “View Source” button in Netscape Navigator 1.0, eventually becoming a full stack developer. Supporting Internet Explorer 5 & 6 pushed me to find better ways and I wish Chrome Developer Tools had come sooner. I have developed production web applications running PHP, Coldfusion, and ASP.NET MVC, and tinkered with many JavaScript frameworks.

Recently, I am learning Azure and AWS services, working on accessible user interfaces, and improving deployment scripts.

I miss Netscape’s green dragon mascot.
