David Watson is a Member of Technical Staff at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) Software Engineering Institute's Emerging Technology Center. Before joining CMU, David was a software engineer with Caterpillar’s Autonomy Group. David’s early career was shaped by his time as a Member of Technical Staff at Legent and Platinum, both of which were acquired by CA Technologies (now Broadcom). After CA, David cofounded a startup and contributed to the launch, growth, and acquisition of numerous technology startups.
