My name is Stijn (pronounced “Stan”) and I'm a pure freelance developer. I mainly develop web and iOS (iPhone, iPad, etc.) applications. I'm a devoted Mac user, but my roots lie in Windows. So now and then I develop Win32 and ASP apps as well.

I have over 10 years of experience in professional software development. I studied Industrial IT which basically teaches you how to connect and control robust industrial processes from a computer. I'm a self-taught man and spend a lot of time reading up on new technologies. Every now and then I come across stuff that I like (e.g. Ruby, Rails, Objective-C, etc.) and stuff that I don't like as much (Drupal, Zend Framework, etc.), but I always try to pick up things that I can reuse.
