We are working on a solution with Windows Virtual Desktop on Azure. It's a pretty interesting service, but one thing is boggling my mind.
Considering this works with a set of VMs with multisession and all of them should have the same image so users have a seamless experience, it doesn't seem to make much sense to have to redeploy everything all over again when you want to add custom software to the VMs (such like 7zip for example).
There should be a way to force a deploy of custom software to all users at any given moment, much like how it works with machines joined through Active Directory where you have full control of these things.
Is there away to overcome this? From the documentation I read that the filesystem is mounted the moment the users login, so a more practical solution should be possible.
