I am installing eclipse on a new 64bits windows 10 machine but I am getting a code=13 error.

I read many threads about the return code=13 error. None of the provided solutions worked! Please help.

  • You have a 32 bit Java and a 64 bit Eclipse. They must both be 64 bit or both 32 bit. – greg-449 Feb 10 '19 at 08:14
  • Thanks. However the following seems to be the issue: "On Windows, installing Java 11 may not fix your problem. The Oracle Java 11 installer does not appear to register itself as the default JRE on the system path, or place its entries in the expected location of the system registry." – Jameleddine Hassine Feb 11 '19 at 09:47
