I have javax.persistence.EntityNotFoundException when i delete child entity from child recource controller

Parent entity

When i turn off second level cache lazy loading work without exception 

jpa:

        hibernate.cache.use_second_level_cache: false

I use Jhipster application on spring-boot-starter-parent 1.4.2.RELEASE. Hibernate version 5.2.4.Final

How i can correctly delete my child entity?

  • Is it not due to `@Cache(usage = CacheConcurrencyStrategy.NONSTRICT_READ_WRITE) ` that allows a tiny window where cache and database will be out of sync ? – Redlab Jan 26 '17 at 11:27

  • As we can see from the stacktrace `msd.keeper.web.rest.passport.PassportResource.getPassport(PassportResource.java:239)` => `getPassport` is called after your delete. We just need the complete stacktrace to see where the call is coming from.. – alexbt Jan 26 '17 at 12:12
  • I added stacktrace. I found that after i turn off second level cache (hibernate.cache.use_second_level_cache: false) lazy initialization work without exception – filatvital Jan 26 '17 at 12:29
  • So the basic problem description then is that the delete action does not clear the entry from the cache. – Gimby Jan 26 '17 at 12:49

I solved this problem this way:

I remove parent collection cache in child controller functions

Examples:
