I have typo in my recent commit and I would like to change this immediately. In this situation is there an easy way to edit the commit?

  • Note that changing the commit message of a pushed commit requires rewriting the history, which is generally a bad idea on main branches. Also see https://help.github.com/articles/changing-a-commit-message/ – Ingo Bürk Nov 19 '16 at 09:22
  • This is possible in TFS and other VSTS integrated with Git but not in github commit – Yugendhar Anveshra Nov 23 '16 at 04:21
