Convert current date to specific format using jquery/javascript

I want to convert the current date (2016-1-12) to following format.

Tuesday 12th of January 2016 11:52:00 AM

How to do that using using jquery/javascript?

Great question! Javascript does not play with dates as nicely as other languages in my experience. Here is some great code that will do what you are asking for.

Well, I want to remmend use libraries to work with date / time, but if you want it on pure JS solution is something like this:
