Hi there! I am a British high-school student (soon to be at university in a year) interested in analytic number theory, and specifically L-functions such as the Riemann Zeta Function. I am particularly interested in the odd values of the function for example. Analysis is my main interest- I like evaluating series, integrals and products as a pastime. I solely use real analysis techniques as I am not as familiar with more advanced contour methods having not studied them at university- everything I know is self-taught. I applied to Trinity College, Cambridge, but was unfortunately rejected for apparently being too slow at answering interview questions, even though I had quite a hard time understanding my interviewers but what can you do? Luckily, I am eligible for August reconsideration due to being from a poor background!
